The building which hosts the Hotel has been erected in 1850 by the Marassi family which managed the mines. In 1907 it became a nuns convent. At that time the building was surrounded by a huge Garden full of fruit trees and an inner courtyard; at the ground floor it hosted the theatre, at the first floor the primary school and at the upper floors the embroidery workshop. In 1933 the nuns left and the building became the city hall. In 1970 the Antico family buys the building and transforms it in an Hotel.

All the rooms are well decorated. They all have telefon, color TV, minibar and bathroom with hair-dryer and almost all of them face the sea.
